2006 Citroen C2 VTS

Details

Ceci n’est pas une baguette.

As fun as this silly little thing is, I’m not really driving it much and I’m going to be in Japan for at least three out of the next six months, so its kinda pointless hanging onto it.
For the uninitiated, the C2 VTS is the ‘good one’ of the C2 range, with the spritely little 16V 1600cc engine and proper close ratio manual.
Handles pretty well for what it is, which is a cheap, lightweight city car. Has certainly made my backstreet commute more entertaining.
Nothing like a cheeky bit o’ deliberate lift off oversteer through the ‘burbs to frighten the knickers off nanna coming the other way in her i30.
I am a deliquent, and need this thing taken away from me.
Just ticked over 100 thou with full service history from new.
Heaps of reciepts, quality Advan tyres, and doesn’t smell like Gauloises, garlic or onions. Someone actually looked after it.
Cosmetically, its not perfect up close.
A few carpark dings and scratches.
But the paint is fundamentally good, no clearcoat peel at all.
Its an 8/10.
Worst bit is someone seems to have dropped something on the A pillar above the mirror.
None of it bothers me at all, It is what it is, and priced accordingly.
Interior is great. No rips in the seats, carpet is good, has OEM fitted mats.
Stereo goes ok. Doesn’t have BTA, annoyingly… But you can get a unit from a later model ex-UK for peanuts, and slap it in.
Aircon is stupid cold.
$3600 with rego until February next year, and a full tank o’ juice.
Croissant key ring and casually racist costume included.
In Brissy, can freight it.

A note about pricing

Vehicles listed ‘FOB’ are in stock, in Japan. They may be in our own holding yards, or available through one of our trusted wholesalers.

The FOB (free on board) value is the total cost of the vehicle itself, and all Japan-side costs.

Landed and complied estimates are calculated from the FOB value, using the exchange rate at the time the vehicle is listed. This estimate is inclusive of our fee, shipping, taxes and compliance.

Tyres and registration are not included in this figure. We don’t include these items as customers have different preferences with tyres, and registration costs vary from state to state. Removal of non-standard parts for compliance may also incur extra labour costs.

Customs authorities may select your car for additional inspection and quarantine cleaning once it reaches Australia. If selected, additional fees will be incurred and those costs will be passed on to you as the owner. We have no influence or control over which cars are selected, but we can take measures to reduce the likelihood of this occurring. Talk to us about your shipping options.

While Iron Chef Imports makes every effort to ensure that estimates are accurate, there will be times when sudden movements in the exchange rate will increase or decrease this final figure, and the more expensive the car, the bigger these changes will be. If you want an up-to-date estimate on this vehicle, feel free to contact us.
